Finally

Sorry it took me so ling to get this second half posted. It has been a little crazy around here. Lots of things happening in my studio. Mainly drywall. I can finally see what I have been waiting for. It looks like a real studio. Anyway here is the story with the last post. You will be disappointed and probably a little mad at me because it is so boring and no story at all. I so wanted to use my big window so I asked the couple to brave the studio in all it's unfinished glory and take the pictures in 100 degree temps. It wasn't that bad we all lived and her skin looked nice and dewy. Right? That is what I am telling myself anyway. Sorry if you thought she went into labor or that I delivered her baby. Although that would have been a much better story. By the way I know the couple well and felt that I could ask them to do this. I will not pressure new clients into dying of heat stroke.

Gerber Baby +2

I was so excited to see this little guy come in the door. look how cute and chubby bubby he is. Just like the little Gerber babies. Then the bonus was his brother and sister who are cuties as well. They did make me sweat a little but it is good to keep me on my toes. I will have more sneak peaks coming soon so stay tuned.

Little Guy

They get so big so fast. I just did his 6 month photos and here we are already at his 9 month. Time flies by so fast and I love watching all these little kiddos grow. Here is your sneak peak S. We will see you at your 1 year. Of course it will seem like next week.

By the way, anyone want a little grey kitten. She is very sweet. I think someone either dumped her off or she hitched a ride under someones hood. Just some of the perks to country living. So if you want a kitty or it was your hood email on my website. Thanks.

The Pioneer Woman

Well, if you don't know who The Pioneer Woman is I expect you to go to her blog www.thepioneerwoman.com and check her out. I think she is just fabulous and well my idol. I am a bit of a PW stalker. I know there are more of you out there because I know a few of you. Anyway she on occasion has photography contest and well I entered a photo in her last one and made it all the way to the finals. I was just so amazed I was even chosen out of the 67,000 submitted photos that I almost fainted when I found out I had been featured.

Long story short I did not win the final. However, I felt like I won just because my photo was chosen. I will let you in on a little inside secret that I feel kinda bad about. This couple is not a couple at all. They are brother and sister and yes he was going off to war, that part was true. I never said they were a couple, photos are art and left up to interpretation, right.

I love this photograph no matter what and just to let you know the soldier is home and safe and served our country well. Once again D thank you for your service.

The Studio

Well so I thought I would show everyone what is going on here at Stacy Case Photography. So for almost 3 years I have been shooting my studio portraits in my dining room. I am grateful that I had that space to use but am so grateful to move on and well, get my house back. So now I can have family dinners in my dinning room instead of my living room.

I love to work with natural light so putting in a 12ft by 9ft window is a dream. I will still be using my studio lights as well. I have grown to really love using them. So the capability of using natural and studio light in one building makes my heart sing.

With the studio going in lots of things are going to change and improve. When the studio is finished I will be having an open house. Door prices and drawings will be taking place so don't miss it. I will post it here on the blog as well as email and face book as to when that will occur.

When the studio is completed I will post some more pictures. Very soon I hope.
