{ God Is Good }

Well today I turned the big 3-0. I think turning thirty makes you look back and reflect. What does that mean for me as a newly thirty something? It means that this is my time. This is the time that I become the person I was meant to be. A wife, a mother, a friend, a daughter, a daughter-in-law, a granddaughter, a nurse, a photographer and what ever else I choose to be. God has blessed me and surrounded me with wonderful people and given me great talents that fill my heart with joy. Here is a picture of my daughter that gives me the most joy in life. As well as a picture of my husbands grandmother who is 94 and always has a beautiful smile on her face and a picture of the sunset just outside my door. God truly is good and he does bless. So I consider myself blessed and looking forward to being in my thirties.

It's almost spring and my calender is already filling up. Do you want some on location portraits. Grab a friend and split the setting fee. This doesn't mean that you have to put yourself or your children in the same pictures it means you get to enjoy a relaxed photo shoot and share the location and the cost. Choose who wants the first hour and who wants the second or spend the time together, your choice. I have some great ideas and locations that I can't wait to photograph. A 2 year old and lipstick

This is why a two year should not be left alone for more than two minutes at a time. Not being up for very long this morning she runs into my room "pretty mommy, pretty mommy". After doing my best to keep a stern look on my face with out busting into laughter I grabbed my camera and took a few shots. This is also were she discovers where she might be in some trouble. Notice the look of almost ready to cry. Lots of Vaseline and tissues later she has her face back. I do love the two's.

Not A Happy Camper

Well this little guy was not all that into having his picture taken. However I think these turnes out not to bad. Mr. C we will get you when you are in a better mood.

The first Newborn

Here is baby L, he is my first newborn session and I could not have asked for anything better. He was so sweet and put up with us for two hours doing whatever we wanted to him. He was even sweeter to me because unlike mommy and grandma I didn't get a shower.
